Sad News JioFiber Available for Some, Denied to Others — Why This Discrimination?

Hi everyone,

I’m sharing this post out of frustration and disappointment.

A few months ago, Jio laid full fiber infrastructure (FTTH boxes and cables) in our locality — Gajantala, Hijuli, Ranaghat – 741202. Many people in my area already got JioFiber wired connections, and the service has been working well for them.

But now, when I’m trying to get a connection, I’m being told that my area is no longer serviceable for JioFiber, and I’m being forced to opt for AirFiber, which is not as reliable or consistent for my work needs.

Today, I even received a reply from Jio’s official X (Twitter) handle confirming that JioFiber is not available for me — and I’ve also filed a complaint on the PG Portal about this issue.

My simple question is — why invest in infrastructure if you're not going to provide service to all? Why are only some people getting JioFiber while others like me are being left out?

We want stable, wired internet, not AirFiber experiments. Please, @reliancejio, don't waste the effort and money you've already invested here.

Keeping your frustration and disappointment towards JioFiber aside, I would like to inform you that – our forum operates based on a set of guidelines.

Just because you are upset or pissed by Jio due to unavailability of JioFiber connection, you aren't allowed to create N number of threads on the same topic. We have been patiently merging your similar type threads but you are in no mood to stop abusing the system.

Kindly open new threads only when you have a new subject (topic). Do not post threads on the same query with new titles and rewritten content. While it may satisfy yourself but just doesn't help anyone here. Users are reporting your threads due to your posting patterns. Please take care.
