Hello,
Want some advice on a problem. My cousin has a Jio sim on Le 1s. As it is a non-volte phone, the data has to be kept switched on for calls to be received. Consequently, he is not able to use wifi. If wifi is switched on, he is not able to receive any calls on Jio. So, phone is always on data mode even when there's free wifi available.

One solution I thought was to apply 'Call Forwarding' on Jio Sim when at home, so to not miss calls. When I tried this, I got an error, "Error with network or SIM card".
Has anyone any solution to this problem?

Without a solution, the Jio Sim may not be that useful for non-volte phones after 1st Jan 2017, once data starts getting charged. Anything viewed on the phone (even when free wifi is available), will be deducted from the data limit.

Jio is busy in partnership building with handset makers and there is no sim available for public. Unless you buy Lyf handsets, it is out of stock since 10 days. Yesterday my friend purchased water 7 handset and he instantly got jio sim and also it was activated within 15 minutes by reliance digital executive.

Doesn't seems like i would be getting my hands on Jio Sim, until 1st Jan 2017. I think they issuing sims are per their network capacity. They might be scared of network collapse if millions of people start using welcome offer at one go. May be am wrong but seriously now am getting very much frustrated by the reliance executives replies and also since the day i came to know that they are also selling it in black for Rs.450. Disgusting it really is...

I was lucky to get the Sim early, the time I got the Sim there was no rush at my location and my Sim was activated in less than 72 hours, after a week I got a Sim for my Dad and at that time the rush started to increase but not what I was noticing in YouTube videos in Metropolitan cities, now it has been around 16 days since I got the second sim and 2 days back I checked it and it was still not activated, and Yesterday I went to Digital Express Mini to enquire about it and to my surprise there were around 200 people outside Store waiting for their turn

I went to ask an official and he told that they upload documents within 24 hours but due to heavy rush all around India Sims are not getting activated from last 12 to 15 days and Reliance has asked them to stop issuing more than 10-15 sims per day,and people standing in queues were looking really frustrated  :shy :shy
