Jio 5G is actually 4G and True 5G is 5G it's just bug in iOS 16.2
That is incorrect. My iPhone shows Jio 5G and wife’s iPhone shows True 5G. But we both get 600-700 Mbps speeds at home. There is no difference. You can verify by checking band connected to by dialing *3001#12345#*

If you are getting True 5G in carrier, just replace sim or convert to e-sim and it will start showing just 5G. It’s random. Mostly got to do with 2nd 5G plan activated on your number when you got 5G offer. Those with just 5G logo got only one 5G plan added under addon section. It doesn’t affect anything. 5G speed is same in both cases.

Not true.
When its LTE am getting more than 60Mbps speed.
When it shows 5G am getting around 30 to 50 Mbps only.

See the below Screenshots. First one is for 5G and second one is for TRUE 5G

See ur first screenshot it's showing 5G icon but it's connected to B5 so obviously it will be slower than usual LTE. Jio hasn't deployed 5G on B5
but my mother's also showing same speed of around 50Mbps. Never connected to True 5G. Jst 5G
Device Realme 9 pro +

This 5G icon bug is present on many devices now doesn't properly indicate if it switched to 4G that's why many people are mislead
But for me it shows LTE first, then jump to 5g and 1 or 2 min.
True 5G connects only outdoors.
i checked with my mothers mobile in Netmonster. Its connected to NSA 700. It can only obtain speed upto 300Mbps. Where as in my device when it shows True 5g it crosses 1 Gbps.
So indeed there is 5g & True 5g.

Its not a bug in all devices. Its band N28 & N78.

Happening to me as well in Palakkad...
Not sure why indoors I'm getting 50-60Mbps, but in my terrace it goes straight to 500Mbps...
