There is no much difference from 5G bro.. Also this 5GA icon switching back and forth to 5G. Maybe they are still testing or something. If I see a significant difference in speed or connectivity I'll share the results..
What's the speed you are getting?
On my oneplus 13r I'm not getting the 5GA signal. Although 5g speed in my location always around 600mbps to 1.2gbps as tower is very near.

The max. I have seen was around 800mbps. I think the 5GA should be supported by both ends - device and network. Probably jio haven't turned it ON at your location. Even I got this now only, although I am using this device since launch date.

We are not talking about Carrier Aggregation here... And Samsung didn't have this for ages because currently in India, only Oneplus 13 and 13R support this technology in collaboration with Jio. You can search for the respective press releases from oneplus and jio for further
U r mistaken. 5G-A is basically 5G carrier aggregation

I don't deny that 5.5G is based on CA. In fact CA is one of the core features of 5.5G. I am just saying 5.5G ≠ CA. It has more features in it including CA.

In the same location I used to get 5G+ for the past 10-12 months, which is basically CA.

Potentially but jio has ...for the time being...implemented the CA part of it

Currently which jio can do on n28 and n78 single bands...Basically n78+n28...tested it with my dad's op 13 got the 5Ga symbol...my s23u was on ca...but s23u download speed were better...same location
Just having better download speed at sometimes is not important, having more consistent & reliable network is important, 5.5G's goal is to give consistent & reliable network with higher download & upload speeds even in highly crowded area by improving strong coverage.

Ik. But again, jio has failed in that regards too...it was in kolkata...a pretty crowded place....new market during evenings....ofc they have a lot of micros over there to increase density yet it failed to deliver
