In the first transfer of the Indian
Premier League (IPL) 2016, Kedar
Jadhav, the 30-year-old middle-order
batsman, has made a move from Delhi
Daredevils to Royal Challengers
Bangalore.
The Pune-born batsman, who has
played four One-Day Internationals
(ODI) for India, was initially part of
Delhi's squad in 2010. In 2011, he
moved to the now-defunct Kochi
Tuskers Kerala but was soon back with
Delhi in the following year. In 2013,
the aggressive middle-order batsman
was a regular pick for Delhi's side,
scoring 152 runs in 12 matches.
Performances improved a bit in the
following two seasons, with 149 in 10
and 189 in 14 games respectively.
Jadhav will add a bit of solidity to RCB's
batting line-up, that has been guilty of
being too top-heavy in the recent
seasons. While Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli
and AB de Villiers will do the bulk of
