This year is not MI year. Look at the way they are playing. Really bad
There is no chance to win MI come back their worst form
No hopes from MI.
Inspite of loosing 5 games out of 6, MI still have a positive net run rate which means they could have easily won all those close matches and could have been on top of the table. Anyways MI seems to have been setting a trend on winning the IPL every alternative year. So may be next year, all those results in close matches goes their way. In any case MI fans can relax and have fun since they are already 3 times champions. This year the IPL champions title is more important to RCB and DD who have not even won a single title and for the teams making their comebacks CSK and RR to boost their reputation. MI, SRH, KKR can relax. But for me the most likely team that is going to win this tournament is KXIP. They have to do it for Priety Zinda. Inspite of many years of disappointment she is still cheering her team for their maiden title as well. Never seen any other enthustiastic owner so far in IPL.

Gambhir steps down as DD captain; Iyer to lead
Gautam Gambhir, the Delhi Daredevils captain, has decided to step down from his post. Shreyas Iyer will take over from Gambhir for the remainder of IPL 2018.

Gambhir was bought by DD in the player auctions in January, and soon after made captain of a team that was expected to break its IPL trophy drought. But the Daredevils have flattered to deceive, with the team losing five out of six games so far to be rooted to the bottom of the table.

"I take full responsibility for the position we are in. And looking at the position, I have decided to step down as captain. Iyer will take over. I still feel we have the team to turn things around this IPL," Gambhir said while addressing the media in Delhi on Wednesday (April 25).

"It was absolutely my decision. The management didn't pressurise at all. It was the right time to step down," added Gambhir, the two-time IPL winning captain with KKR.
