OMG ! In IPL 2018, the cost of each ball is 23 lakhs

The IPL 2018 will kick off from April 7 and Star India has the right to broadcast it. Star India has purchased the media rights of IPL for 5 years in the Rs 16,347 crore (i.e. approximately 2.55 billion dollars). In this way, the BCCI is going to earn 23.3 lakh rupees from each ball thrown in the IPL and this amount is more than the GDP of 30 countries of the world. Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi also quipped on Twitter, saying that the amount is more than the GDP of countries like Bhutan and Maldives. There are 195 countries in the world and out of them total amount of GDP of 30 countires has equal cost which will spend over IPL2018 matches. The popularity of the tenth f IPL is 22.5% higher than that before. Thus, revenues can be expected to increase further.

Chennai Super Kings launches mobile app

The Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings launched its mobile application on Monday ahead of the 2018 Indian Premier League season.

Ravindra Jadeja inaugurated the app in the presence of KS Viswanathan, the franchise’s CEO, and other dignitaries. “To give back to the fans CSK has been exploring ways and means of bringing fans closer to the team, be it via the official merchandise or tickets or being able to follow their Lions,” the Viswanathan said. “For this we tied up with our official technology partner Tekplay Systems who developed the predictive analytical engine for the IPL auctions which helped us pick a balanced squad. Through the CSK app we are bringing the fans and the team together on the digital platform.”

The app has features like news, views, match analysis, fan zone, competitions and games, CSK TV, purchase of match tickets and official merchandise.

As far as I Know if a Player is banned by ICC or Respective Cricketing Board, He cant participate in IPL same was applied last year on Andre Russel for KKR.
 
Warner not playing for SRH is bigger dent as compared to Smith not playing for RR, since Warner is more impact player in T20....:em:

But Warner in Current Circumstances is better of not to be in Dressing room of SRH as he has a mercurial nature and would be under Continuous scrutiny from Media during IPL :no:

While Smith can handle himself well in Stressful Situation !!

Personally I believe better for Brand IPL if they don't play in 2018, considering the amount of negative media following this incidence:em:
