In this season RCB has 9 different batters to score 50+ runs in an innings (Kohli, Salt, Bethell, Padikkal, Patidar, David, Shepherd, Krunal, Livingstone). Only Jitesh left now

Most by a team in a season equalling MI in 2015

Captain saab is completely out of form, not visible when the team is winning. Expecting better from him

Umpiring Standards Day By Day

DRS timer wasn't shown but that isn't the umpires fault, timer is still on, yes the decision was a blunder and we can tell this after all the technology, but, there's an appeal, umpire has given out and Brewis missed all of this in the quest of running 2, umpire has given out the ball is dead and Brevis-Jadeja are running 2, isn't that brain fade from both the batters?
Ball tracking showed wickets missing, but that's something revealed afterwards, umpire gave out but DRS was available, why not opt for it instantly, what's point running when ball is dead.

the point is that if it wouldn't have been given out, they would have got 2 runs and that's the margin by which CSK lost the match, everyone has seen Brewis's batting in the last 2 matches and he had the capability to finish the match all by himself

Ball was not even close to hitting the stumps, this blunder is as big as umpire missing Malinga's no-ball on the last ball during MI vs RCB which costed RCB the playoffs spot that year

But when the opposite team is appealing for a wicket it's a batters duty to look at umpire for decision instead of running for 2 runs blindly. If he would have seen the decision and taken the review on time the result could be different.
Its umpiring fault that he had given out with wrong decision but when it's given out and ball is dead then what's the point in running 2 instead of taking review so, similarly it's batters fault too.
So there is no point in blaming only one individual that is umpire.

The point is to go event by event and not just to connect favoured events and discard the rest.

Brewis didn't see the appeal, didn't see he was given out, if he would have been present at that moment, he would have called for DRS instantly and would have been not out and as you said with his form, he would have sealed victory in maybe 19 overs.

Umpires give blunders, it isn't the first time and that's what DRS is for, just because the production team missed the counter doesn't mean it is not on, 2 runs as it is won't count after the out signal, instead Brevis-Jadeja should have been in that moment to call for DRS.

Rightly said. On screen counter is for viewer reference only. Everything in the match happens chronologically with match referee reviewing each and every moment. They won't miss anything. These guys were dumb enough to not to take DRS and run between the wickets
