Indian smartphone vendor Intex has introduced two-new Android smartphones in the country. The new phones – Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong – are now available in retail stores at INR 3,666 and INR 3,333 respectively.
“The dual announcement cements our purpose of creating the economically attractive and technically luring smartphones. These two new offerings are almost identical in nature and come with the Corning Gorilla glass and the stunning brush metal finish. These two new offerings are designed for the mass market and are a great package of features, design and the right pricing,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.
Coming to the specifications, the Intex Aqua 3G Pro and 3G Strong run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and sport a 4-inch WVGA display with Gorilla Glass. The phones are powered by 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715 processor and feature dual-SIM support, 1400 mAh battery, 2MP primary camera and VGA front shooter.
In addition, the Intex Aqua 3G Pro comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot, while the 3G Strong has been packed with 256MB of RAM, 512MB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
According to Intex, the buyers of both smartphones get with 1-year 1-time screen breakage warranty, meaning if your smartphone display breaks in the first year of usage, Intex will replace the screen for free.
Sporting a brushed metal finish, both new Intex phones will be offered in Black, Silver and Champagne colour options.
