Intex just added another model to its lineup of Aqua smartphones dubbed the Aqua Joy at Rs 2,799. The phone is available in two colour options, black and white.
The display is a 10.6 cm (4 inch) screen with a 480×800 resolution, along with 233 pixels per inch. The screen displays 16.7 million colours. It has a 1.2 GHz Quad core ARM v7 Cortex processor. The Spreadtrum chipset is used and the RAM is 512MB DDR2. The GPU is an ARM Mali400 MP2. Internal memory is 4GB, including the OS and the apps. The memory card slot supports up to 32GB expandable storage.
The phone runs Android Lollipop 5.1. There are 0.3 megapixel cameras on both the front and the back. The front camera takes photos in 640×480 resolution, while the back camera snaps in 800×480 resolution. Both cameras can record videos at 25 frames per second. The back camera has a dual tone flash. The 1450 mAh lithium-ion battery gives a talktime of 4 to 5 hours, and standby time between 140 to 160 hours.
Multi touch gestures are not supported, as the touchscreen sensor can only track one finger touches. There is a g-sensor, which can be used by some apps as an additional method of location tracking. A conventional GPS is also included. The phone is 10.1 millimeters thick and weighs 110 grams.
