After launching the 'first Android 5.0
Lollipop smartphone by an Indian
manufacturer' last week, Intex on
Monday launched the Intex Aqua Star II
in India. Priced at Rs. 5,999, the
smartphone shares most of the
specifications with its predecessor, Intex
Aqua Star, which was launched in
September last year.
The Intex Aqua Star II is powered by a
1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731)
processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The
Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphone
comes with dual-SIM support.
The smartphone features 8GB of inbuilt
storage with an option to expand it via
microSD card (up to 32GB). The Intex
Aqua Star II features a 5-inch display
with FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution
an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera,
and a higher 5-megapixel front camera
instead of 2-megapixel camera. Users
can also click selfie images using the
touch screen or the volume buttons of
the smartphone. Apart from 3G, other
connectivity options on the Aqua Star II
include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, F
Radio, and Micro-USB.

The Aqua Star II is backed by a
2000mAh battery and will be available i
Black, White, Blue and Grey colour
variants.

Intex Aqua Star II marks the 6th
smartphone in the Aqua Star series. The
firm has previously launched Intex Aqua
Star (2013) , Intex Aqua Star, Intex Aqua
Star HD , Intex Aqua Star Power and the
latest Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Aqua
Star L .
