Intex has launched the Aqua Dream
smartphone, which is now listed on the
company's site at a price of Rs. 10,390.
There is no official word on the
availability details of the Intex Aqua
Dream; however, we expect that the
company will announce the availability
the smartphone in the coming days.
The Intex Aqua Dream is a dual-SIM
(GSM+GSM) device which runs the recen
Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It
comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280
pixels) IPS display.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz
octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M)
processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The
Intex Aqua Dream comes with 8GB of
inbuilt storage, which is further
expandable via microSD card (up to
32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear
autofocus camera with LED flash, while
there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-
facing camera also onboard. The camer
features scene detection, face
recognition, low light enhancement,
panorama mode, geo-tagging, burst
shot, smile shot, and HDR options.
On the connectivity front, the Aqua
Dream offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetoot
options.
The smartphone packs a 2300mAh
battery, which according to the official
listing is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of
talk time and up to 300 hours of standb
time. It measures 151x78x8.5mm;
weighs 145 grams, and is listed in White
Black, and Champagne colours. It packs
sensors such as an accelerometer,
ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and
proximity sensor.
Intex, earlier this month, launched the
Aqua Desire HD at Rs. 8,990. The
smartphone was an upgraded version of
the Aqua Desire, which was launched in
February.
