Using filehippo downloads from last 1 year. Never found any virus threats. Just downloaded latest chrome release from this site, scanned it with my AV after reading your post, nothing found in it. Can you tell which download gave you virus from this site?

As others are not facing this problem, so may be problem is from your end. You can check your PC & Browser. Also contact FileHippo support. I will also try to provide original official download site links. But Chrome full version is not available, only Internet download is available in Official Google site, so i had been giving these filehippo links.
