Wincor Nixdorf India has appointed Ingram Micro as a distribution partner for the company’s POS solutions including hardware and software.
"The key objective of the new partnership is to provide greater access to Wincor Nixdorf's technology to retail segments across India," said Jayesh Desai, Retail Director, Wincor Nixdorf India.
“With this offering we will provide innovation, reliability and operational benefits to small and medium-sized retailers across India,” says K. Jaishankar, Managing Director, Ingram Micro India.
The company counts as many as 15 out of the top 25 retailers worldwide and 21 out of the top 25 retailers in Europe as customers of its POS hardware, software and associated services.
“Over the last few years, Wincor Nixdorf has emerged as the leading retail store technology provider for most of the leading players of the industry in India,” said Desai. Some of its customers include the Future Group, Reliance, Taj Hotels & Resorts, DLF (malls and food courts), Metro and GMR (Delhi & Hyderabad Airports).
