Don't understand the definition of A,B and C but in Australia India were missing 10-12 first choice player through injuries including Kohli on leave... In case of Sri Lanka the count is 29 (20 in England and 9 out due to Covid in Sri Lanka... So these 2 cases can't be compared with same yardstick. Situation was that we even didn't had 6 Batsmen to field and series was Continued only to fulfill Broadcaster commitment.

Shastri is a good motivator while Dravid is technical coach. What India really needs is coach with good tactical awareness and motivator. Otherwise we may continue to struggle in ICC events....

I don't think either Shastri or Dravid fits in that category....
