Yes, not idea why they dropped him. He wasn't selected for the NZ ODI series.
Last played during the Zimbabwe series.
His scores in last 5 innings - 41*, 62*, 41, 124*, 44. Although it was against weaker teams.

He will be again selected when India plays against Zimbabwe and then will be dropped all of a sudden :grin

These performance came against the weaker teams, agreed but unless you give them chance against strong opposition how do you judge their performances?

Selectors forgetting the whole point giving chance to fringe players against weaker teams which is to give them confidence by some strong performances & build a side for the future which is not happening maybe due to politics?
