Though Ishant is a good blocker, don't think he can do that to new ball.

Bro its fair enough to compare Ashwin and Saha since they do multiple roles in the team. Batting is their 2nd preference. But Ashwin is miles ahead of Saha in terms of batting any given day.
Can these 2 players be each other's replacement? NO! So, how can you compare?

Not agree. Even though they have multiple roles but that's not similar.
You simply can't compare a keeper with anyone other than a keeper.
Here we are comparing their secondary role ie batting. So no offence.
Though Ishant is a good blocker, don't think he can do that to new ball.
I have seen him block well with the new ball too. But its difficult with the likes of Rabada, Styne, Philander and co. As of now he did well. Its important for him to stay until Kohli is around

Now Ashwin proved his need in team as a all-rounder if u won't give chance to him then u'll be the loser unlike him though he won't knocked out like saha in batting like 1st test ;);):tup:

Saha a decent lower order bat bro & no 1 wicket keeper in India right now. Its just 1 failure. Parthiv seems like a good batsmen, but he ll give more runs by missing more chances behind the wicket. If saha was playing this match SA could ve bowled out below 300. Not only saha, Bhuvneshwar, Rahane s exclusions too hurting india all because of Kohli/Shastri selection arrogance.

Another important session coming up. India need to score another 20-30 runs to take the momentum into the 2nd inngs.
