Long tours take a lot out of your body - Rohit Sharma

That the ODIs begin within four days of the closely-contested three-Test series has thrown open issues of the packed calendar and schedule once more. As many as nine players in India's ODI squad, including Dinesh Karthik, were part of the Test series and will now need to make the mental format switch in what is essentially a very crucial assignment in the larger context of next year's marquee 50-over tournament in England. India's limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma admitted that these long tours take a heavy toll on the body and fitness.

Really dissapointed to hear that:(
Half excitement of series gone.
Waited for 3 years(since 2015) to watch ABD against India(in odi) but when time came he got injured.Don't know when india will play next against India and if AB will not take retirement till then.
(Note-Please don't get me wrong Iam fan of AB but want India to win also.
I want that AB bat well then India chase it but...)

Yes bro very bad news it is. But he was played last time against India in 2015. In that match Bhuvi was centurian from Indian side:em:

Woow good to see raina again , hope he prove him self
Raina has already proved his fitness and hence got selected again bro. Actually he and Yuvraj failed to clear the mandatory Yo Yo fitness test. Hence both were dropped. Now that, Raina has cleared the Yo Yo test, he is back again. There is no question of his selection specially in T20I's. Its just the fitness concern. Specially now there is more importance being given to these fitness standards than ever before.

When people were calling of Dhoni to be dropped. He emphatised the same thing. Here's a guy(Dhoni) who clears all the fitness tests at ease and is contributing to the team cause in every possible way and still people are after him. (This is not the exact lines he said, but this is exactly what Virat wanted to convey about Dhoni and fitness and team selection).
