Gambhir will get a lot of stick for this series and rightly so.But people do forget that Indian team is in transition after a decade of Kohli and Sharma.Gambhir and Gill's selection of 11 though is baffling.You can't win test matches with 2 bowlers whose main strength is bowling tight line just because they can bat.Also,i feel Bumrah needs to be phased out.You can't rely on a bowler no matter how great he is if he can't be fit for 2 consecutive tests.Like Kohli and Sharma he should focus on shorter format of cricket which his body can endure.Also,the selection panel needs to be replaced.It is beyond reasoning that guys like Shardul,Karun Nair,Prasidh Krishna( he has time in his hands) get picked over many many deserving players in the country.

I still feel Hardik should reconsider his decision of playing test match if Bumrah can play test with work load policy why can't hardik plus india should developed bowling depth in top 6 first step should be removing impact sub rule from ipl

yes bro totally agree pandya can solve all problem for test team as he can bat and ball

Yup bro he can purely play as a batter in indian condition & can bowl as 4th seamer when needed in sena nations

I think decision to step away from test matches was his own decision.Not that he can't be persuaded but still he gets to decide if he can endure the 5 days of cricket.The test matches are much more taxing for fast bowlers than the batter and spinners.These days due to too much T-20 cricket the test matches rarely run for 5 days but when it does the bowlers start firing empty cylinders by 4th day

Agreed bro on every point that's what I'm saying he can play as 4th seamer if he reconsider his decision he can easily bowl at most similar over to Nitish & he can be more valuable than any other option

Gambhir has a man crush on Nitish Reddy.Let him play for few more years before ascending to Indian team.At the moment he is neither a good batsman nor a good bowler.
