Yes, if Siraj and other bowlers pull up a victory in this test match, then it will be the second time in the same series that without Bumrah, Indian bowlers pulled up a great show.

Hope this time it comes true!!
Hoping the same plus i also fell that India should search for another bowler for red ball instead of Bumrah although he is a great bowler but resting him again & again due to work load management is damaging the team combination

But tomorrow morning Akashdeep is free wicket available.

Today England dropped 3 catches. 2 chance for Jaiswal. 1 for Sai. Good score. But India need to bat 80 Overs tomorrow for a safe score to draw or defend.
I always wondered why Akash is sent as night watchman and why not Siraj who plays defence well.

Well played Akash Deep 66 👏

STAT: A 21st century record 45th 50+ score this series and three of the four least in-control 50s have come in the fifth Test - Crawley (62%), Jaiswal (70.5%), & Akash Deep (67.7%)

STAT: Akash Deep is the first Indian nightwatchman to score 50-plus since Amit Mishra (84 runs) against the same opponent at the same venue in 2011.

This is the 18th hundred partnerships in this series, the most in a Test series in this century (since 2000), surpassing 17 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2003-04.

Today's innings is perfect example why he sent in as night watchman
Excellent innings by Akashdeep if he maintains this along with bowling India's hunt for pace all rounder might get over in red ball cricket especially

Yes he played his heart out.

Fabulous 66 runs. Moreover the time he devoted in the 100 run partnership was really praise worthy. 👏 👏
