According to some media reports if things don't go as plan in australia bcci may appoint two coaches VVS for test and GG for odi and t20i and Rohit maybe play the first test then fly back to India and join the team again for the second test as there is gap of 9 days between both the tests

@piinku1 bro & @Ashok Varma bro i don't think two coaches theory will work in India as there will ego clashes then neither does the two captain theory but the board thinks otherwise as yesterday only 6 hours meeting were held to discuss the future of GG if India lose BGT as per the reports of Dainik Jagran

Jadeja and Ashwin will retire soon too. It's important for Gill+Jaiswal to perform like seniors now. Jaiswal has got consistent run now. He needs to perform in these ten away tests. I will be happy with 600-800 runs from him, considering his first tour.

I am expecting runs from Nitish+Rana+Sunder as well. Jadeja and Ashwin should not play a single match in BGT as per my opinion.


Rotate bowlers in every tests. Bumrah should play all test matches. Play Siraj+Prasidh in one match and Akashdeep+Mukesh in one match.
Keep Saini+Dayal+Avesh+Khaleel as net bowlers. I don't mind Tanush Kotian+Manav Suthar staying back as well. Sunder and Kotian will get developed under Ashwin guidance and Manav will get developed under Jadeja.
