In domestic he played mostly as bowling allrounder. He has 52 FC wickets at an average of 22. Not all players are picked based on stats some are picked on their potential and skill set they offer. Seaming allrounder is such a rare skill set in India they always get fast tracked. Players whom we picked solely on domestic stats like Sarfaraz and Easwaran couldn't even score in practice matches against Australia B team
