Mayank recovered before the business end of the tournament. Same with Saini, he recovered too. Rohit - in the BCCI president's own words, someone who knows about cricket more than you and me - played IPL after getting injured despite being only 70% fit...

Again, he was not fully fit (70% only) and despite that he played. Had he not played the IPL in half fitness, he would have been fully available for the Australia tour

Same people were howling for Kohli to be removed from captaincy after the ODI drubbing, and on SM too people have started to remove him from tests.
But Mayank was injured when team was announced as was Rohit, if One player is selected subject to fitness permit then why not the same rule applies to other.... It is very convinent to not play an important player if he is not Fit, rather then not to take him with squad considering 14 Days Quarantine....
What is 70% fitness, if player is batting and fielding on 3rd Nov and your 1st Test starts on 17th Dec....
As per Physio he may still get injured, then why send him to Australia now???? Any player can get injured like Warner.....

Why do you think that Sharma wouldn't have made himself unavailable?
If he had made himself unavailable then Captain should have said the same rather then saying he is injured.... If this is the quality of Communication Captain has with VC then think about his communication with fringe players??

Again how it would have sounded if Captain says that my VC was fit for important IPL matches but he has made himself unavailable for Aus. tour.IMO the BCCI should have said this rather than the captain.

Depends on how the hamstring heals. I have a personal experience with a hamstring injury. That's why I'm saying Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI president knows better than me and you about Rohit's injury. Plus Rohit has had so many hamstring injuries, twice in the last 12 months alone, so that doesn't help either.

Because the medical team would have assessed Mayank injury to be not as serious as Rohit

Agreed. BCCI's medical team needs a serious rap from the higher ups for such glaring blunders...

BCCI's call. Maybe to silence people like you who would've otherwise howled if he was totally absent from the tour...
Any player can get injured like Warner
Nature of Warner's injury and Rohit's injury are very different. Let's not jump into that.

I am not an expert on hamstring but an injured person connot compete in 3 matches in 7 days, and then can't play for next 45 days because he can again get injured.....

If all the calls are being made by BCCI then when Indian team Wins, Credit should go to BCCI and not to Captain and Coach.....

I am not comparing there injuries but only highlighting that fittest players like Warner can also get injured. But if a player can get injured doesn't mean we should not play him.....
If so then why Virat made Pandya bowl in ODI when he has been advised not to bowl till he is 100% and he himself said he want to bowl in important matches for India like T20WC????

Again. He must have had L1 injury which is why he would've been able to walk and run. But doing so would've made that healing hamstring worse.

If a player is injured, we should definitely not play him. Which is what Rohit did during IPL playoffs.

That's because he is not carrying any present injury. If he'd gotten an injury, then the medical staff Plus management Plus captain should've gotten a rap..

There is difference between injury and Risk of Injury, and Rohit played in the IPL playoff.....

This is when he himself has said in the previous post match conference that he wants to bowl in important tournament, still Virat made him bowl.....
Also same applies to Rohit Sharma as he is not presently injured but likely to get injured.....

Rohit played in the IPL playoff with the injury, and with the risk of furthering that injury. I don't know what point you're not getting here.

He did not deny bowling in bilaterals either. Don't try to twist and turn words to suit your agenda. Virat did not Make him bowl, Hardik himself offered to bowl 2 overs because he was not injured...
