But Mayank was injured when team was announced as was Rohit, if One player is selected subject to fitness permit then why not the same rule applies to other.... It is very convinent to not play an important player if he is not Fit, rather then not to take him with squad considering 14 Days Quarantine....Mayank recovered before the business end of the tournament. Same with Saini, he recovered too. Rohit - in the BCCI president's own words, someone who knows about cricket more than you and me - played IPL after getting injured despite being only 70% fit...
Again, he was not fully fit (70% only) and despite that he played. Had he not played the IPL in half fitness, he would have been fully available for the Australia tour
Same people were howling for Kohli to be removed from captaincy after the ODI drubbing, and on SM too people have started to remove him from tests.
What is 70% fitness, if player is batting and fielding on 3rd Nov and your 1st Test starts on 17th Dec....
As per Physio he may still get injured, then why send him to Australia now???? Any player can get injured like Warner.....
