Actually it's more to do with india. I read somewhere As soon as nike pulled out of the bidding.. panic started in BCCI management.. Haphazardly got a tutty benami company to bid and produced a poor retro jersey for India. Had a reputed company got the contract, We would be having a better designed jersey.. But certainly not a Retro.
