May be selectors trying to give some message to MS, to concentrate ONLY on 50 overs game as it's about 7 months away from now. Though fans (also critics including me) believe he is little hard done by, but we must accept this was on the cards!

One interesting fact: There're only 2 wicket keepers in India's test history who bat left-handed, both of them are selected in this tour.
Vijay is a good selection over Dhawan. In last test series down-under, he was the 3rd highest scorer only behind Smith & Kohli. But can't understand Rohit's selection, Karun Nair would be disappointed again!
