Excluding 1st innings of 1st Test in Adelaide, he was playing with tail enders in all the subsequent innings. In this innings, he was playing with a proper batsman and he has shown what he can do. So he plays according to the situation. I think Pant had come a long way! Good signs for Indian Test Cricket.
