Instead of Umesh .. Bhuvi would have been best option with both bat n bowl.

Why KL & Umesh

Well, Vihari will move to his original 6th spot after Rohit's unavailability. KL will open with Mayank, but it should have been Vijay.
Hope team management will not repeat a disastrous XI like Lords (Kuldeep) and Perth (Umesh against Jadeja/Kuldeep) again. They'll loss even before the toss if Umesh is selected.

Instead of Umesh .. Bhuvi would have been best option with both bat n bowl.

Team don't want to grind Bhuvi given that he is injury prone and WC is very near.

- Ashwin isn't fit and India bring in Kuldeep Yadav in place of Rohit to account for a surface that might have turn as the Test progresses.

- Hanuma Vihari is pushed back to the middle-order and operates as a second spinner alongside Ravindra Jadeja while KL Rahul makes a comeback in place of Rohit and opens the batting with Mayank Agarwal.

I think india use mayank and hanuma as a opener and kl rahul as middle order batsman in vacant place of rohit sharma and bring kuldeep in and ashwin out because Australian batsman valnarable against not big turner jadeja then kuldeep as a chinaman bowler is a good choice

Ok whatever I'm going to tell u won't accept seems but 1 word stastics alone never judge a player coz a player failure in 9 matches perform 1 match that may be a match winning match for us but stats leave that match and display 9 matches only same for Rohit as u know .. but u can't digest comments on Rohit but others means ok ..
