Inplace of Ishant, Ashwin is good option for SCG Test , and Inplace of Rohit, Pandya is better option with the pitch suitable for both pace and Spin .
It's Horses for Coarses approach and its way to go.

I am 90% sure Australia will play 2 Spinners in SCG test with Labuschagne as 2nd Spinner .

I would love to go with the same, Rohit just hit 61,so why fix something which ain't broken. If it spins vihari can fill for the 2nd spinner.But your changes seems logical & brings in more options but playing the same team may have an edge.

Rohit should open the innings in tests

That cud be out of the box thinking, but need complete transformation from rohit to switch to test mode from shorter formats. He s a great player no doubt, he need to have that temperament to play longer inngs & shud have patience. Who knows he may some how fill the shoes of sehwag but long way to go. But he can be tried from next series but if prithvi comes back would love to go with prithvi & Mayank for some time.
