Lucknow: Come October and the roar of the fast paced, high-adrenaline motor racing event, the prestigious Formula 1, would once again drown the nation. The success of the inaugural Formula 1 races last year, which earned the then chief minister, Mayawati, many brownie points for hosting a glitch-free international event, is once again expected to be replicated from October 26-28 this year, this time with the new chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav, at the helm. A high level meeting was held here on Thursday to take stock of the preparations for 2012 F1 Indian Grand Prix to be held on the 5.125 km long Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Noida.
