Logistical issues for Indo-Pak series
http://www.espnstar.com/cricket/international-cricket/news/detail/item661235/Logistical-issues-for-Indo-Pak-series/

Some Facts of Pakistan and Indian Cricket

Pakistan have played 123 Test series so far. Won 47 Drawn 35 Lost 41
India have played 136 Test Series. Won 49 Drawn 31 Lost 56

Pakistan Win % is 38% and Loss % is 33%
India Win % is 36 % and Loss % is 41%

BCCI is finding it difficult to make schedule for Pakistan-India series which is expected to be played in March-April 2012.

India tour to Australia will end in March and then there is also Asia Cup scheduled to be played in same month in Bangladesh.

How can India schedule Pakistan-India series in March-April as CB Series, in Australia where India is participating, will end on March 8 and then from 12-22 March there is Asia Cup

IPL will start from April 4, that leaves space of only 10 days in March-April. I don't see this series happening as India will never delay IPL nor will ACC postpone Asia Cup as they have broadcast deals. India will be free in June 2012 but during it Pakistan will be busy playing in Sri Lanka

By this Comparison Pakistan have better ratio than India.

Butt seeks Pawar's help in reviving Indo-Pak bilateral ties

India-Pakistan series is likely to be played in England. Both the boards and the governments have given go-ahead signal to the bilateral series between arch-rivals.

Only problem with series is creating window for it as India has a tough schedule ahead. March-April is the window for Indo-Pak series in the FTP but there is Asia Cup in March and then IPL starts in April.

‎#Cricket: PCB has said that series between India-Pakistan in England is not possible as the Olympics will be starting in London in 2012. The other alternative venues - Sri Lanka, UAE, Malaysia - have emerged to host Indo-Pak rivalry.

Meanwhile, PCB has also hinted a split tour to accommodate series in the FTP. Split tour means Test series and limited-over leg will be played at different times and, perhaps, at different venues too.
