This is what happens when you prepare a sub standard pitch,it becomes a lottery.Most often than not,team batting first tends to win.Having said that,India's batting pedigree against spin has gone down significantly.

India can still qualify for the Semi-finals,if they can win the remaining matches with a bigger margin since the current NRR is -2.35.If NZ beats Australia,then it will be a knock out match for India vs Australia unless Bangladesh show their maturity and win against NZ or Aus or may be even both.

Don't forget Indian batting collapsed like a pack of cards in the same ground against SA in 2011 World Cup Match.

After all,if you don't win the knock out matches,you don't deserve to win the world cup.

I agree with you Dhawan is the only man weak link in our team and plays irresponsible shots, gets out every time, after every 5 to 6 innings he will score 30+ to ensure his place. He should be thrown out from the team:angry

YEah, He always Fails to give a Good Start and then there is pressure on other Batsman.
After this tournament, India should Remove Dhawan, Raina and Should take Gambhir, Manish Pandey

He was briefly suspended from bowling off-breaks , can't remember the time-frame.
I do remember he was pushing the deliveries without any spin & was there in the team for his batting only :sp
