Should not change batting order now as world cup is nearing.team is settled and kohli batting in no.3 constantly.he should continue at no.3 only.as long as top order fires we can win any games.
More depend on dhawan,kohli and rohit.

I wonder how is going to select team for world cup.how come he selected as chairman of selection board.

It will be a debacle if Kohli is demoted to number 4 position, that too at this point of time. The average drops alarmingly when Kohli bats at number 4, I think he doesn't like that position. Look at the below post and Kohli's average.

Rest of the World Cups, except 2003 and 2011, Lost most of the matches against the strong teams

Nah, In 1999, they lost with ALL teams except Pakistan in super six stage Here are the results starting 1987.

1987 - England knocked us out in SF
1992 - Lost against ALL teams except Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Round robin
1996 - Sri Lanka knocked us out in SF
1999 - Lost against ALL teams except Pakistan in Super Six (Lost against Zimbabwe in Group)
2003 - Lost against Australia in Final
2007 - Lost against Bangladesh in Group
2015 - Lost against Australia in SF

Only twice Australia was a hurdle among so many world cups. Fact is, India is afraid (In your words) of ALL the teams including weak teams like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in World Cups And in the Word Cups India won, i.e. 1983 and 2011 India could win against Australia and also most of the other teams. Basically, they should play well in all matches to win a World Cup, one team can't be a problem Let's see
