I know on which basis you are talking. Even I was thinking same but changing different opening pair will spoil in upcoming matches. Looking KL Rahul in the last match against Pakistan he never looked hurried so he can handle opening overs & looking at English pitches playing initial overs are very crucial.

Pant is naturally agressive player & he is kind of player "chale sher nahi to dher". We want opening batsmen who can not only score runs but stay on crease & that KL Rahul did in the last match.

It is right time to give chance to Pant in place of Kedar against Afghanistan.

South Africa just can't perform under pressure, be it batting second or fielding second. The number of chances they spilled today was unbelievable! Especially I couldn't understand how De Kock didn't hear such a big noise! Even if he wasn't sure they should have gone for the review, that was the game there, Williamson's wicket!! Poor SA, they don't deserve to go further.
