i think icc know rain spoil some matches and matches will washed out so they go for league world cup this year instead of group stage world cup so that we can watch extra matches and not complain about rain

I am not an engineer, I don't know what met department. is capable of.
But one thing that I know rescheduling was always there an option for icc. (Rescheduling as soon as most accurate prediction was done by Met dept.)

*If BCCi can schedule ipl two weeks before match why can't icc.

Whatever the plan.you have the grounds and time also.we have 2 channels to broadcast the cricket.easy to change scheme and inform to media.we have all in 2019.
Where as in 1990s we have only one channel for broadcasting and can't change schedule.
So it's better to keep the reserve day and change the venue which don't have rain prediction and play matches and decide who is winner.
Not this useless one point to both teams.worst
All teams should be given equal importance.
