Huawei has announced MediaPad 7 Lite, their new tablet in the MediaPad lineup. It has metal uni-body design and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS mult-touch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and comes with a 3.2 MP rear camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera. It has 3G support with cellular voice function, SMS and MMS. It is 11 mm thick and weighs 370 grams.
It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD. It has 1080P HD video playback at 30 frames per second. The connectivity features include, 3G WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0. It has 4100 mAh battery.
It would be available in South Africa, China, Russia, Philippines and Taiwan from end-August, Indonesia and Malaysia from September 2012. It would be available in Germany in October 249 Euros (~US$314)
