HTC had launched the Desire 830 in May this year. The smartphone is the successor to the Desire 820, which had launched two years ago. Initially the smartphone was available only in Taiwan, but according to Mumbai-based Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone is now available in India for Rs 18,990. The Indian variant features a dual-SIM support, hence named HTC Desire 830 Dual-SIM.

According to the details revealed by Mahesh Telecom, the India variant has same set of specifications of the Taiwan variant except for the dual-SIM support. HTC hasn’t yet officially announced the launch of the smartphone.

HTC Desire 830 dusl-SIM specifications

The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek Helio X10 SoC (MT6753) 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It also offers 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

On the camera front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS. Up front, there is a 4-Ultrapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It also features BoomSound stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio. The smartphone is equipped with 2,800mAh battery, and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE support among others. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow wrapped under the Sense UI.

At Rs 18,990, the HTC Desire Dual-SIM face tough competition in the likes of Lenovo Vibe X3, and the Motorola Moto X Play. The smartphone will also face competition from some popular budget smartphones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Moto G4 Plus.
