iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus India launch. While the die-hard Apple fans are curiously waiting to get their hands on the new iPhones, there is a fake iPhone 6s that has made its way to grey markets. Called the Goophone i6S and available for less than Rs 5,200, the smartphone looks completely identical to the iPhone 6s and it’s difficult to make out difference between a genuine and fake one.
Spotted by YouTuber C4ETech , he has also put up a video showing the unboxing of the clone and placed it side by side with a real iPhone 6s. The box, the packaging and in box contents such as the earpods, booklets, lightning cable and travel charger all closely resemble the iPhone 6s.
The build quality of the Goophone i6s is also on par with the real iPhone 6s, he notes. Turn on the smartphone and you have the Apple logo that appears during boot-up. Jump right into the heavily skinned UI and there is no way you can tell a difference at first glance. The drag down notifications, drag up toggles and the icons, all are pretty much close to a real iPhone. All functions operate in a pretty good manner.

The box of the iPhone 6s clone is plain blank. Also, the box of the fake iPhone mentions 64GB onboard storage, whereas you actually have just 8GB (around 4GB of actual user storage)
Step Two: To spot a fake iPhone 6s, you can also open the App Store. If the smartphone is a clone, it will open up Google Play Store rather than Apple’s App Store.
Step Three: You can also try the maps app – a fake iPhone will open Google Maps instead of Apple Maps.
