BSNL Broadband is one of the most used India's internet service in India.
The telecom company offers some good internet packages at affordable rates, however at times, their service becomes really terrible, which leads to slow internet speeds even though they are in a good package.
Most of the time, the service is good and sometimes you don't even get the half of your package's speed, which is annoying. That said, here's how you can increase your BSNL broadband internet speed.

Use Public DNS Servers
BSNL's default DNS servers don't come set with either Google DNS or OpenDNS, which in long run results slow internet speeds. Having said that, try to always set your default DNS gateway to either Google DNS or OpenDNS for good internet speeds. This is the most common error seen with BSNL broadband users.
How to Set DNS Servers
To change your broadband's DNS server, you need to follow the below steps:
Control Panel->Network and Sharing ->Change adapter settings->Select your LAN Adapter->Right Click it->Properties->Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (Ipv4)->Properties
After going to the properties, you can see DNS settings over there. Change the DNS settings to as follows.
For Google Public DNS
Primary DNS server: 8.8.8.8
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.4.4
For OpenDNS
Primary DNS server: 208.67.222.222
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.220.220
Always Use Good ADSL Modem
So, the next way to fix the BSNL broadband issue is to use a good ADSL Modem, which offers better bandwidth than others.
Remove Virus from Your Computer
This applies for every network connection. If your system is affected by malware or virus, then you may experience slow internet speeds. Always make sure that you have installed an antivirus software which will be monitoring your system all the time.
Keep an eye on your Phone Line
This is an interesting fix. If you face any sort of disturbance while you are on BSNL phone, then it will result in slow data speeds. If you face any kind of phone line issues, contact customer care and get it fixed.
