"Hike Sticker Chat has crossed 1 million weekly active users. We are now unbundling our app. Instead of focussing on just app, we are also going to multiple (platforms). This week, we have started rolling out Hike on the web. It can be used even if the user's phone is switch off," founder and Chief Executive Officer Kavin Bharti Mittal said.He said that while working on desktop or laptop, people do not want to keep looking at their phone. "With web application, we are making it convenient for them to engage with their friends.".

Hike messenger updated with hundreds of new chat themes. The themes are split into various categories. For those who are unaware, chat theme on hike is the background image on chats. Unlike WhatsApp and other chat apps, the chat theme in hike is applied two way i.e. both the parties would see the chat background changed at the same time. Some screenshots of the new chat theme categories below.

"Unsend" is rolling out on the server side. Unlike WhatsApp there won't be any "You deleted this message" sign. The message just vanishes as if it didn't exist.

Also, hikemoji is rolling out with which one can create sticker packs using their own picture.

After rolling out hundreds of custom two way chat themes sometime back, hike messenger is now updated with much needed improvements to this feature. The application colors are now better integrated with the custom chat theme that's selected. Earlier, these colors weren't changing as per the chat theme, except for the basic chat themes. Now they change for all of the chat themes. See below pictures.

We were not able to use many of these custom themes before, as these colors weren't changing according to the theme which in turn made the text hard to read. This is an excellent improvement and much needed for those who love to use these themes.
