I have recently purchased and connected via HDMI ARC port.

I'm using Zeb-9400 5.1 Dolby Sound bar which works fine when connected Mi 4k Box with Optical Cable, it produce real 5.1

But when connected with Zeb 9400 ARC to Redmi ARC, only stereo files play well and when tried to play 5.1 there is no sound.

Kindly help, OS of tv: Andriod TV 11

Then raise ticket with Redmi, I think port is defective.

It plays stereo files normally and detects it as HDMI ARC, only when played 5.1 content there is no sound.

1. DIGITAL : AUTO 2.PCM 3.DIGITAL OUT.

Content : 5.1 AC3 files, DTS files via MXPLAYER, VLC.

OTT : Youtube produce the sound as it is stereo, Prime Video 5.1 movies doesn't produce sound, Netflix Same.

If you change output format to PCM, you should get sound for all the content (5.1 and stereo). However, it'll only be stereo audio. Try doing this.

Second, try changing it to Digital out. Let us know what is the result.

I know that pcm would give stereo, when i select Digital Out, There will be no sound for 5.1 content, but it Passthrough stereo files sound successfully in Digital out.
