HCL To Double Its Stores Strength

HCL Infosystems has planned to double its HCL exclusive and multi-brand stores strength from 32 to more than 60 and is focused on IT hub market locations including Guwahati, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jammu, Shimla, apart from the metro cities.

“We plan to have at least one HCL exclusive or multi-brand store in the identified 29 hub market locations in metros, tier-1 as well as tier-2 cities. Depending upon the availability of appropriate location, we will double our footprint to more than 60 across the country. We ensure self sustainability of the stores by working out ROI before opening the store and all of our stores break-even within six months of opening,” informed Princy Bhatnagar, Vice President, Head-Consumer Computing, HCL Infosystems.

HCL Infosystems has recently launched its first flagship store spread in 1000 square feet area in Nehru Place, New Delhi to showcase the entire range of HCL desktops, ME laptops, ME gaming consoles, all-in-ones, and other IT accessories and peripherals. Along with the flagship store, the company also inaugurated an HCL exclusive store at Vikas Marg, New Delhi.

Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems said, “We are very pleased to announce the launch of our first ever flagship store. India as a consumer market will increasingly demand better retail formats and it will be our constant endeavor to create more such customer experiences and touch points in the future.”
