Haryana govt to develop online receipt system
CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government will soon develop an online receipt system to improve service delivery to various depositors intending to make any payment to the government.
"The new system would not only facilitate payment through internet banking for customers of various empanelled banks but would also help in generating verified challans to deposit cash in branches of the empanelled banks," an official spokesman said here today.
He said with the implementation of 'Cyber Treasury' project, various depositors would not be required to approach treasury for getting the challans verified as the facility would be provided to those departments, which intend to collect receipts from various persons and then deposit the same with the treasury bank.
He said that at present, tax and non tax government receipts are received through the process of filling up relevant challans and depositing the amount with the concerned treasury bank branch.
