International Friendship day is celebrated on 1st Sunday of August every year. This year it will be on 7th August and not today. Please check.

As per article ur posted International Friendship day is July 30th every year .. but in our country it's 1st Sunday of every August .. that's why i added word "International" in thread heading the same Google tells too hope no more confusionInternational Friendship day is celebrated on 1st Sunday of August every year.
