This March, Stadia announced that the survival horror series Resident Evil would be making its way to players. Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition launched yesterday, April 1, on the Stadia store and is free to claim and play for Stadia Pro subscribers. In addition, pre-orders and purchases of Resident Evil Village before May 21 at midnight Pacific time get you a free Stadia Premiere Edition while supplies last (terms apply). You can find more information within the official announcement.

We announced 10 new games from Stadia Makers, the program created in partnership with Unity to support independent developers bringing creative and unique games to the Stadia store. That includes FORECLOSED from Merge Games, a narrative-driven cyberpunk action-adventure coming in summer 2021, and Figment 2: Creed Valley from Bedtime Digital Games, a puzzle adventure through the human mind coming in fall 2021.

We’re well on our way to adding more than 100 games to the Stadia store during 2021. In fact, during May we gave players a sneak peek at Super Animal Royale, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game and Control Ultimate Edition. Plus, we’re looking forward to the launch of Ubisoft’s next entry in the Far Cry franchise with Far Cry 6 on Oct. 7, 2021!

In June, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege launched with instant access to 5v5 PVP action in the latest North Star season, including support for cross-play and cross-progression with PC and Luna. Players also competed within Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game, which supports Crowd Play Beta. June also gave players the chance to experiment with building new creations in Hello Engineer First on Stadia in Early Access, which includes support for State Share.

In July, Stadia Pro subscribers enjoyed new games like Moonlighter, Street Power Football, Terraria and The Darkside Detective. Claiming these titles within the growing Pro library of more than 20 games makes them easy to play instantly, for as long as you’re a Pro subscriber. Plus, Stadia Pro offered free play weekends for Dead by Daylight, The Crew 2, Marvel’s Avengers and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game.

In August, Stadia Pro subscribers played through newly added games like PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay, It Came From Space And Ate Our Brains, Epistory - Typing Chronicles, Killer Queen Black, Valkyria Chronicles 4 Complete Edition and GRIME. Claiming these titles within the growing Pro library of more than 20 games makes them easy to play instantly for as long as you’re a Pro subscriber. In addition, last month included Free Play Days every single weekend, with Pro subscribers getting the chance to play free games including Rainbow Six Siege, The Elder Scrolls Online and Far Cry 5.

In October, Stadia Pro subscribers claimed and played the more than 30 games in our growing library of titles. That included newly-added Pro games like Hello Engineer, which is available First on Stadia with State Share support, plus DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure, Cake Bash, Mafia III Definitive Edition and Control Ultimate Edition. On top of that, Pro subscribers had access to Free Play Days for Borderlands 3 and Dead by Daylight.

In November, the Stadia Pro library reached 40 games for the first time — a mix of open world titles, sports games, adventures through new worlds and blockbuster hits. All are available for subscribers to claim and play right away, including newly added Pro games like Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, DIRT 5, Kemono Heroes and Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator — not to mention Wavetale, which launched First on Stadia in a surprise reveal. Pro subscribers also enjoyed Free Play Days for Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Crew 2.

In December, the Stadia Pro library included 45 games for subscribers to claim and explore and play right away. Newly added Pro games like Destroy All Humans!, Wreckfest, The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, Transformers: Battlegrounds, Unto The End and FORECLOSED brought extra adventures for the holiday season.

In January, the Stadia Pro library added new titles like Darksiders III, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark and DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders. With 45 games in January for subscribers to claim and play right away, it was easy to pick up a new adventure — especially since all new Stadia users receive a one-month trial to Stadia Pro.
