They're shutting down Google Reader this year.

On it's official Google blog, Urs Hölzle, SVP Technical Infrastructure and Google Fellow announced in a post titled, 'Second Spring Cleaning':

We launched Google Reader in 2005 in an effort to make it easy for people to discover and keep tabs on their favorite websites. While the product has a loyal following, over the years usage has declined. So, on July 1, 2013, we will retire Google Reader. Users and developers interested in RSS alternatives can export their data, including their subscriptions, with Google Takeout over the course of the next four months.

Fans of Google Reader start Keep Google Reader

In an interesting development, fans of Google Reader have started Keep Google Reader Alive, a petition to fight to keep Google Reader alive launched by user @christophmccann. You can visit the site here > Keep Google Reader

any good options???

I am using feedburner currently which is another service from Google and its development also stopped. No updates from long time in it, so that may be the next service google will shut down.

FeedDemon, Feedly, NewsBlur, The Old Reader, Yahoo Pipes, etc
are some of the alternatives of the Google Reader.
