Chrome cast was but not anymore after launch of firetv. Everyone was buying firetv

I have used both, firetv is better over Chromecast

Perhaps. You might be right, there is a better feel when you use a remote. But when your phone is powerful, I think Chromecast really gives an edge. As they say, opinion matters from person to person.
