Try putting it inside a Jio phone and try. My unused sim was inside Jio phone. I haven't recharge since last 6 months. I swap sim to a new number 3 days back. Sim is not inside any phone. I still got the benefits.

I am using 3 numbers since last 4 years. None are deactivated. I haven't recharged the number since last 2 years.

If you got time. Call and ask them. Why your sim is deactivated? This is the first time I am hearing about Jio's sim being deactivated.

Yes sim already in jio phone no plan activated but still no any benefits

Had to try really hard to get an unused Jio number deactivated. Firstly, mailed Jio care which they replied that it would be deactivated after 90 days. Well waiting 1 year, I lodged complain on PG portal and the SIM was permanently deactivated within 48 hours. It now says - "Please check the number you have dialed".

Yes they don't deactivate on their own, you could port it to another operator like Vodafone and then leave it without recharging and it would get deactivated. Its good that the PG portal method worked.
