I also always recharge my number using my Jio app but neither getting the 5 GB promo voucher nor the ₹50 voucher from last 3 times. Last month also I did a recharge of 399 but didn't got any voucher.

Now I know, why I got those vouchers.
After searching Jio website for few minutes, I found that, I got vouchers under this offer: Jio Football Offer - Get Cashback of Rs.2200 on New 4G Smartphone
44 vouchers X Rs. 50 = 2200

I was using Jio-Fi but now I'm using Jio-Fi sim in a smartphone. The phone is not new and I've already used another jio number on this device. Still I got the offer.

Now I understood why I got only 44 vouchers. When I purchased Jio Sim that time also same kind of offer was running & I inserted the Sim in that phone in which Jio Sim was never used so, I got these vouchers.

just came to know that I can use those 50 rs discount vouchers on 2 denominations 198 & 299 which gives 2 gb per day and 3 gb per day for 28 days respectively

If you are a Jio user you don't need to buy Hotstar's VIP pack for getting early access to Indian shows or streaming any sports content like world cup, IPL etc. However if you want to watch any Hotstar Original show. You will require a premium or VIP plan. I personally suggest to go for the latter as you will get more content.
Note : You will only get premium content on smartphones apps when connected to jio's internet.
