I live chat with jio care about this add on and they told me this:
It is a jio complimentry offer for all eligible samsung handset .Jio will provide 10 gb data for them which can be used between 19 dec to 2 jan

I use JIO sim in Ji-Fi device, not in any galaxy smartphone. I've inserted jio sim in galaxy smartphone only once to check volte after that I put it back into the jio-fi device.
