Upul Tharanga has been named the head of the new five-member selection committee of Sri Lanka. The selection committee also includes Ajantha Mendis, Indika de Saram, Tharanga Paranavitana and Dilruwan Perera. The appointment was made by Harin Fernando, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
